The 2022 Grand Cherokee is available in seven trims: Laredo ($52,545), Altitude ($56,545), Limited ($60,045), Trailhawk ($64,645), Overland ($69,045), Summit ($74,545), and the Summit Reserve ($79,340).
There are also 4xe 2022 Grand Cherokee trims: 4xe ($75,195), Trailhawk ($75,595), Overland ($81,595), Summit ($87,095), and the Summit Reserve ($89,295).
Engines and Performance
The 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WK Laredo, Altitude, and Limited trims are available in a 3.6-litre V6 engine. This engine has a maximum power of 293 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. All trims, excluding the Laredo, can be purchased in an optional 2.0-litre hybrid engine. The 2.0-litre plug-in hybrid powertrain is capable of 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. The Trailhawk, Overland, and Summit trims are also available in a 5.7-litre V8. The V8 puts out 357 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque.
All V6 trims have standard eight-speed transmission and rear-wheel drive. Upgrades to four-wheel drive are available. V8 and 4xe trims have standard four-wheel drive.
All 4xe trims have Jeeps signature standard Quadra-Trac II 4X4 systems. The Laredo, Altitude, and Limited gas versions come standard with Quadra-Trac I. All upper trims are equipped with Quadra-Trac II. The Quadra-Trac system is constantly active as it senses changing terrain conditions. It automatically transfers more torque to the wheels where it senses more power is needed.
Technology
All trims have a 26cm instrument cluster, a heated leather steering wheel with audio and cruise controls, a Uconnect 5 media centre with a 21.3cm infotainment touchscreen, and a six-speaker sound system. The Overland, Summit, and Summit Reserve have additional GPS navigation and a nine-speaker sound system with a subwoofer and a 506-watt amplifier. The top Summit Reserve trim has a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system with a 590-watt amplifier. All SUVs have smartphone integration and USB ports.
