What's New
By adding the Laramie G/T and Rebel G/T models to the 2022 Ram 1500 lineup, Ram solidifies its place as North America's off-road and performance truck leader. These two models are not only new to the lineup, but they also offer unique technology and performance features different than what other trim levels can provide.
New features are a first for non-TRX models, including paddle shifters, metal pedal kit, cat back exhaust and cold-air intake, and more.
Exterior
The new 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie G/T and Rebel G/T models have a distinct exterior design that sets them apart. Ram 1500 G/T models have a distinctive sport performance hood and G/T decals that distinguish them from non-G/T models. In addition, the exterior is upgraded with a factory-installed cat back exhaust and cold-air intake.
Interior
The new 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie G/T and Rebel G/T models also have a distinct interior look that distinguishes them from non-G/T models. The G/T-specific interior features bucket seats with the G/T logo with high bolsters, as well as all-weather floor mats from Mopar.
In terms of space, these new models are available in a Crew Cab configuration, offering tons of interior space for all passengers.
Performance
The Ram 1500 distinguishes itself as a performance truck with its standard offerings, but the G/T models offer even more performance features. Inside, drivers are treated to paddle shifters, a console-mounted performance shifter, and a metal pedal kit to provide a performance racing feel.
Under the hood, the 2022 Ram Laramie G/T and Rebel G/T models feature a 5.7-litre V8 engine with eTorque mild-hybrid assist. This revolutionary system replaces the traditional alternator on the engine with a 48-volt battery-powered, belt-driven motor generator that optimizes performance, efficiency, drivability, and payload and towing capabilities.
The V8 engine delivers 395 horsepower, 410 lb-ft of torque, and 5,134kg of towing capability.
Technology
Ram has always loaded its pickup trucks with technological advances and smart features, and the 2022 G/T models are no different. Filled with innovation, the Ram 1500 is able to make work easier and rides more enjoyable. This includes seamless smartphone integration, noise dampening technology, and more.
Infotainment
Included standard on the 2022 Ram 1500 Laramie G/T and Rebel G/T models are performance pages, which provide drivers with the tools necessary to become familiar with their vehicle's performance. With real-time access to vehicle performance information, drivers can view timers, g-force, gauges, and engine performance.
The performance pages are accessed through the G/T's Uconnect system, and the Laramie and Rebel G/T models feature the latest version accessed by a large touchscreen display.
