Notable Changes From the 2023 Model
There are a few notable changes to the 2024 edition of the RAM 2500 model. The exterior undergoes a slight redesign, offering a new grille, headlamps, and an aerodynamic profile. Aside from this, there are very few noticeable changes made to this year's model.

Interior Details and Cargo
The interior design for the truck is simple and comfortable, without too much technology or additional features. The design aids the truck's sense of utility, with the option to pick the standard bench or bucket seats. Trim options for the seats include cloth, heavy-duty vinyl, and premium leather, with certain trims having more luxurious options.
Front seats are available as heated for additional comfort during the winter months. Additionally, options such as the class‑exclusive RamBox® Cargo Management System lets you easily store more cargo. The box is waterproof and drainable, ensuring whatever cargo goes in it is well protected from the elements.
Exterior Design and Functionality
The exterior features a boldly designed body that is sleek and practical, making it easy to get in and out of the truck. A Black grille with a chrome "RAM" badge decorates the front of the vehicle, while 17-inch styled steel wheels decorate the four wheels on the car. Additionally, black door handles, mirrors, and front and rear bumpers further accent the vehicle.
Depending on the trim, the wheels increase in size to 18 inches, offering better traction and stability while driving.
Technology and Connectivity Features
The tech has been upgraded compared to last year. There's a Uconnect 5 multimedia centre, which has four times faster processing speed compared to last year. The system allows for multi-phone wireless communication with up to five user profiles. It includes support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Other technology includes a new 12-inch full-colour in-cluster frameless display centre to keep you informed of your vehicle statistics and gauges.
Power, Performance, and Fuel
There are two engine options available for the 2024 RAM 2500. The standard option is the 6.4-litre HEMI V8 engine that delivers a towing capacity of up to 17,740 lb. Additionally, this engine has a power output of 410 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque.
The more powerful 6.7-litre Diesel I6 Cummins Turbo engine offers 14,920 lb towing capacity and 1,970 lb payload capacity. The engine delivers a bit lower horsepower at 370 but provides up to 850 lb-ft of torque, a remarkable amount for the diesel engine.
Safety and Assistance Tools
The truck is packed with a fair amount of safety and assistance features to assist you on the road. Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, Trailer Sway Control, and Traction Control help you control the vehicle even while towing a trailer or in hazardous weather. Rain Brake Support furthers this idea by helping you come to a stop in time, even on wet surfaces.
Ready Alert Braking and Electronic Roll Mitigation are two other features that help protect you in the case of a collision with another vehicle or obstacle.
