Notable Changes From the Previous Year
The Ramcharger is back after 31 years out of line. It’s a revamped version of this lineup, completely geared to sustainability. This means nearly everything about the 2025 Ramcharger is new, including its flagship model, the Tungsten.
Performance Specs
The new lineup will be powered by a 92 kWh battery and two 440v EDM (Electric Driving Modules), with a range of up to 1,110km. This setup boasts 663 horsepower, a torque capacity of 615 lb-ft, and towing up to 14,000 pounds. Indeed, this powertrain is powerful enough to accelerate from 0 to 98 km/h in 4.4 seconds.
Additionally, the new Ramcharger relies on an on-board generator, which greatly extends its driving range. This generator is designed to charge the 92 kWh battery, and it’s powered by the award-winning 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine. The plug-in charging port supports three charging technologies and has weatherproof features, allowing you to easily charge your vehicle regardless of weather conditions.
Design Features
RAM isn’t exaggerating when it advertises the new Ramcharger as “the most luxurious RAM interior ever. The Tungsten comes with premium leather upholstery, mixing bright metal details with real wood accents.
The cabin is also equipped with noise-cancellation features, so you can enjoy the best of the available Klipsch Premium Audio system, including 23 speakers and a subwoofer. Other luxury features include 24-way power front seats, massage and memory settings and dual wireless charging pads.
The exterior design brings dynamic features and a striking front end, with a redesigned front fascia, an illuminated RAM badge, and model-specific grille surrounds. Exterior design features include LED tail lamps and a RAM badge on the tailgate. This vehicle also greets you with animated lights and a light carpet leading to the door for extra safety.
Technology and Safety
The new Ramcharger has the largest touchscreen in its class (14.5-inch), but that’s not the only touchscreen available. There’s also a 12.3-inch digital interactive cluster display with real-time information about the vehicle’s conditions and other important information. You can add a third display: a 10.5-inch passenger interactive display with access to entertainment such as music, movies, and shows. The Uconnect 5 infotainment system is standard for this lineup.
There are also quite complex technologies involved in the Ramcharger’s safety systems. It has a hands-free driving assist combining an active lane management system with an adaptive cruise control. Over 100 safety features are available, such as an evasive steering assist, and an intersection collision assist.
