Bustard’s Charity Car Show in Support of KidsAbility

On Saturday, September 24th, Bustard Chrysler is proud to host the inaugural Bustard’s Charity Car Show in support of Kidsabilty!
 
KidsAbility was founded in 1957 by local Rotarians. This vibrant organization provides support to children with physical and developmental disabilities, and coordination and communication challenges. KidsAbility is recognized as a leader in Waterloo Region and Guelph-Wellington for empowering local children and youth with a wide range of complex special needs so they can realize their full potential. KidsAbility is made up of a team or therapists, teachers, and volunteers who provide therapy and social services to thousands of children and youth from Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph and Fergus.
 
Money raised at Bustard’s Charity Car Show will help to fund the purchase of equipment, hiring of specialized therapists, creation of new programs, and aid in reducing wait times for children and youth with special needs. Donations play a key part in ensuring the success of KidsAbility, with 10% of their revenue in 2016 coming from donations to the organization.
 
Bustard’s Charity Car Show will be taking place on Saturday, September 24th from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Bustard Chrysler dealership on 575 Davenport Rd. Judging is scheduled to commence at noon and continue until 3:30 pm. We will continue to accept registrants until 2:00 pm. Registration will cost $20 with all proceeds going to KidsAbility, and we accept cash, debit, and credit cards
 
We’ll be giving away some AWESOME trophies to the winners! We are working on creating vehicle classes that are inclusive of all vehicles, however we may also have brand classes depending on how many individuals commit to come to the event.
 
This is intended to be a fun event the whole family can enjoy, and we will feature some other awesome activities such as a DJ, kids’ zone with bouncy castle, dunk tank, and other kids’ activities, raffle with some awesome prizes, 50/50 draw, and food/drinks. Most activities will be free but we will be requesting donations in support of Kids Ability. Raffle tickets and 50/50 draw tickets will be available for a small cost.
 
Our Fine Details department will be offering exterior car washes for a minimum 5$ donation with all proceeds donated to KidsAbility!
 
We are looking for sponsors to donate cash to fund the event, as well as products and services for raffle prizes. If you are interested in getting involved, please pm email Kathleen at kathleen@bustard.com. We are in need of the following:

• Vendors (we will charge a small vending fee)
